Byredo was founded in 2006 by Ben Gorham with the ambition to translate memories and emotions into fragrances. Ben began by being intrigued by the scents and memories of a trip to his mother's hometown in India, where he was shaken by the aromas of spices and incense. Inspired by this trip, Byredo's scented candles and fragrances were developed with an understated approach, using a simple composition of the highest quality raw materials.
